By now, you have heard of search engine optimization (SEO). It is the process of using keywords to draw targeted traffic to your website business. But what about keyword phrases? They can bring in even more lucrative traffic.

Keywords are used in content, webpage headlines and the like to gain interest from the major search engines. Once you register your website with them, their little soldiers (bots/spiders) go to work checking out what you have to offer. Use words that your customers will choose to search for your website; your content can then rank within the first page of results. This means that you will be the first link anyone sees for those words.

But, there are other ways to optimize besides just keywords. You can use keyword phrases. Nowadays, many keywords have become commonplace. Entering “chocolate” into a search engine, brings back millions of results. Someone can wade through the first ten pages (highly unlikely) and still not find exactly what they are looking for.

Now, they will try a different tactic. Instead of one word they will enter something like “chocolate peanut butter cookies.” This is definitely more specific. If you sell recipe books, it would be more beneficial to you to choose the latter phrase instead of just the former single keyword.

Importance of Keyword Phrases

If you have used any type of keyword tools, not only will you get keyword results but also phrases. It is harder to use phrases in an article and appear natural. But, you can use those targeted phrases in another way – create unique WebPages on your site.

Some people miss out on all that keyword optimization has to offer by simply listing all of their products on one or two pages. Let’s say that you sell cookbooks. Well, there are several different types of cookbooks: desserts, main dishes, appetizers, drinks and ethnic fare to name a few. You could have a link that says “Cookbooks” and links to that section of your shopping cart.

To make use of keyword phrases, though, you could also create a unique page for each keyword phrase. On the home page, include links to each page using that keyword phrase. You will get credit for the phrase appearing on the home page too. You can also pepper your content with the keyword phrases where appropriate and use it as anchor text for a link to the corresponding page on your website.

Keyword phrases are just as important as single keywords. Use them throughout your website to improve your search engine ranking.

Which Keywords to Use for Your Niche

Posted by: | Comments (5)

Website content is not just something for visitors to read. It is also a way to attract the “right” visitors in the first place. Using the correct keywords throughout your website will garner high standing with the search gods and get you noticed.

Doing your Homework

You thought that homework stopped when you graduated from school. In the world of business, you never stop learning if you want to go as far as the road will take you. To that end, it is time to do a little homework for your content – keyword research.

Now, you don’t have to be stellar at research in order to get this done and get it done right. Keyword research is finding the words that will rank your content and your website head and shoulders above the rest. Are you ready? Let’s begin.

Conducting Keyword Research

There are a few things that you can do:

Create a list of words. Put yourself in the customer’s shoes. What words would you input to find you? Write down as many as you can. Better yet, record them in an electronic spreadsheet for easier editing later. Choose single words and multiple word phrases.
Ask your customers. You already have some customers. Survey them to find out how they found you. If it was through an Internet search ask what words they used. It seems too easy, but most business owners overlook such a resource because they don’t ask the right questions.
Use keyword software tools. These tools can be very helpful once you have your list of possible keywords. The software will let you know a variety of things about your keywords and whether they are good enough to reach your target audience.
Analyze the data. From your list, whittle down to just the keywords that are likely to get you what you want. Then, rank those keywords in order of best to worst.
Try out those keywords. Don’t use all of them at one time, but keep track of which ones

you use and for how long. Using website management tools you can find out how much traffic and conversion (how many people used your keyword content as a means to do something – click, sign up, or buy) rates changed.

So, are you ready? You obviously already use content, but maybe it isn’t working well enough. There are always ways to make it better and keywords are one of those ways.

Why Use Keywords in Your Content?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

The Internet is a place where anyone can find information on just about any subject. If you want any one or two of these billions of people to find you there, giving them what they desire is the key. Using keywords in the website content you post is the way to begin.
What are Keywords?

This word has been tossed around a lot on the Web. Keywords are the words that people use to search for information in cyberspace. Now, every word is not a keyword. Some words like “the,” “of,” and others are too common and are usually excluded from search results. Only the main words are used in the search parameters.

Based on those entered words, a series of results are returned for the viewer. Usually the results are in the millions but no one is going to look at all of those entries. So, if you are not featured on the first page, you might as well be entry number 999,999.

Use Your Content

The world is being educated now about bots and spiders. They are icky but they perform a great service for your business website. They crawl your articles, headlines, picture tags and unique pages for the words that searchers enter. If they are found, you get ranked for that word.

Is that all? Of course it’s not. We left out that the number of times the word appears (keyword density) is highly important. The crawly things are looking for how many times that word is mentioned to calculate where you stand compared to other content using the same word.

The hang-up is going to be finding those words. And, for each topic of interest, there are an untold number of words that can be entered alone or in the form of a phrase.

But, what you have to remember is that without the keywords, it will be next to impossible to reach your target market. Some use the “net casting” approach and try to appeal to everyone using generic wording in their articles and advertisements. Not only are you going to get a large amount of uninterested people but you are also going to waste money doing it.

Keywords narrow down the field to only the people who are likely to use your product or service. Just like with ads, you will want to test out these keywords to see the rate of return you get from your efforts. But at least you will start off on the right path.

Is ACN A Scam Or Not?

Posted by: | Comments (0)

ACN, which stands for American Communications Network, is a global seller of telecommunication services. It was started in 1993 by four businessmen Greg Provenzano, Tony Cupisz, Robert Stevanovski and Mike Cupisz. It has grown today from a small company to the worlds largest direct seller of telecommunication services.

The four founders continue to actively participate in the working of the company. Greg Provenzano is now the ACN President, Tony Cupisz is the Vice President of ACN, Robert Stevanovski is the ACN Chairman and Mike Cupisz is the Vice President. Their goal was to build a company based on ethics and a good compensation plan. They have combined their collective experience in the network marketing sector and have tried to build ACN as a model and ideal company.

ACN was recently praised by Donald Trump and two of the founders were invited for the Celebrity Apprentice show with Donald Trump. Donald Trump is a legendary American business magnate, and the company getting his recommendation is quite a commendable feat.

ACN has a strong range of products, all related to telecommunication services. It offers products and services like the Digital Phone Service, Wireless network, Local and Long Distance Calling facilities, internet service, Home Security, and Satellite TV. Their front runner product is the IRIS 3000 Video Phone with ACN Digital Phone Service. This phone has received a lot of media coverage and is a cutting age and innovative product will all the latest features like a big screen, a good camera, and video mail. It works with the VOIP technology.

ACN offers competitive services to consumers and businesses in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific regions. Their global sales are handled by their affiliates or Independent Business Representatives, who receive commissions. It is a top earner with revenues amounting to more than five hundred million dollars per year, and with a strong growth rate in double digit figures.

For a business opportunity, ACN deserves a close evaluation. While the steep joining fee of $499 dollars has been shrouded in controversy, it is still a competitive fee. ACN provides their representatives with necessary training and information about their products. The independent business representatives are anything but independent. The company has laid down strict guidelines for their conduct. Direct selling on the part of the representatives is prohibited, which means that they cannot bypass ACN and sell on their own. Acquiring customers forcefully is also not tolerated, and cold marketing is also a strict no-no.

Earning potential is through three sources. Representatives of ACN can earn money through Presonal Residual Income, Overriding Residual Income and through Customer Acquisition Bonuses (known as CAB’s). Through the Personal Residual Income, a small percentage (1%-10%) of the monthly service bill is given to the representative as commission. Overriding Residual Income is the money earned through the team assembled by the representative.

The representative gets a small percentage of commission from each of the customers gotten by his team members. CAB is also a great way to earn money. Whenever a member of the team or the representative himself finds a new customer, a bonus is obtained. With ACN, expect no miracles but hard work and equally hard earned money.

Empowerism MLM Training Reviews

empower

Empowerism was started and created by the now famous Janet Wilson around the year 1998. Since then it has grown and transformed, and has paid out much more than 7 million dollars since May 2004 to its affiliates.

Wilson, who is the CEO of Life, Education and Prosperity Inc., has developed a business philosophy which is to offer people a high quality and affordable global systems for success and mentor and guide the people to help them start their own successful online sales business. Empowerism also trains people in internet marketing skills and helps develop suitable personal skills for helping them in the growth of their business organization. As Janet Wilson has said, “The training and business opportunities are designed to empower people worldwide through knowledge, inspiration, encouragement, motivation, and new perspectives.”

At Empowerism a membership fee is charged according to the level of membership. At the basic level a fee of $6.95, one time, is charged while at higher level a monthly membership fee of $19.95 along with a one time fee of $24.95 is taken. While the basic option may be affordable, the higher level membership can be considered steep for the person who is not completely dedicated to forming a full time business organization.

Empowersim offers the user a host of guidance and many support options. It provides a monthly magazine, a Training Center, Tutorials, helps with website design and formation, tips on how to attract traffic, etc. to its members.

Payout is based on a 3*9 forced matrix. The Empowerism matrix has a possible 29,523 position for its members to use. For each position filled, $1 can be earned at the time of subscription renewal matrix each month. That means that if the member fills in all his allotted positions, he can earn a mammoth $29,523 each month. Though it is unlikely that any member will amass to him such a big network of people, formation of a smaller network is always possible and that means a steady monthly income.

In addition to this system, Empowerism offers the member two other packages to earn money. The Revenue Sharing Value Plan (RSVP) is a plan based on leads and is only available to the monthly subscribers. In addition to the 50 free leads a member receives each month, the member can also buy another leads package of $25. The monthly earning potential is at the least $2000 with the leads. The other plan is the Marketing Value Plan (MVP), which pays out weekly. If the member invests $100, he is advertised to 20,000 people and earns $200 commission each ad. These figures can be doubled if the member invests $200.

Empowerism provides everyone with a genuine business opportunity. However even though it provides a very genuine business opportunity it is still imperative that the right skills pertaining to Empowerism are learnt and these skills are taught by no person better than Randy Chambliss. Chambliss has deep knowledge of the entire concept of Empowerism and his incisive inputs and tips are highly valuable and very helpful.

Usana Health Sciences was formed in 1992 by Dr. Myron Wentz who is renowned worldwide as a microbiologist and immunologist. Usana has been offering good products for the past 17 years, and have been complying with the MLM laws throughout this period. It has been in compliance with all the Direct Selling Association and FTC rules. It is also a member of the DSA. Despite these strong credentials, there is a constant stream of questions about the legitimacy of the Usana Health Company and the business opportunity it offers.

The Usana Health Usana Health sciences is a great MLM company. In this Usana Health review you’ll discover how Usana Health sciences top reps are dominating the Internet. Usana Health sciences Company offers products in the health and wellness industry. Usana has introduced three product lines. They are supplements called Micro Optimizers, skin care products called as Sense, and food replacements known as Macro Optimizers. The aim of the Usana Company is to provide high quality science based products which can be distributed internationally through a network of associates. Usana health Usana Health sciences is a great MLM company. In this Usana Health review you’ll discover how Usana Health sciences top reps are dominating the Internet. Usana Health sciences has spent years developing their products, and these products have been received very well by people. They are beneficial and effective products, and the company has special partnerships with scientists for help in design and content of the product. Dr. Wentz has always believed that prevention is better than cure, and his products reflect his philosophy. The long run the products have enjoyed and the positive feedback are factors providing effective proof about the legitimacy of the product.

As a network marketing company, it provides a binary plan for compensation. While this plan has created many millionaires in the past, most consultants advise against subscription to this plan. So Usana heath offers options to an individual which are either to buy their products as a valued customer or an opportunity for the individual to build his own business.

The binary plan is simple in nature. There are two sides to an individual’s business performance. When the sale volumes on the left hand and right hand sides match at a certain pre set volume, the individual is paid his commission. The business strategies promoted by Usana health are generally outdated, and with the use of these strategies people find themselves investing more than they earn.

The Usana Company is marketing a brilliant product and has a solid compensation plan in place. It has enjoyed a stupendous run so far and has benefited tremendously because of the recession. The Usana Company is completely above board, although the interested individual advised to think and learn about the tips and strategies regarding MLM before investing precious time and money in this business venture. Other than that, Usana health has a bright future ahead.

The formulation of contingency plans like the Binary plan used by the Usana Company is a type of model which is hard to emulate successfully. I’m a person who can show people the finest intricacies that make these kind of plans successful and also I offer my services to people in order to create successful and lucrative compensation plans amongst various other top notch services. Another thing that I do is teach my prospective clients how to be circumspect and also how to analyze and dissect the market carefully before launching any business involving networking and Multi Level Marketing.

When you set up your website for business, your primary concern is getting up and running. You may ask friends who hosts their websites to help you decide who to go with. But, choosing the right website host can help with your SEO marketing strategies.
What to Look for in a Host
There are tons of website hosts out there. Some are free and some require a fee. When you are looking for real estate for your business, you don’t want to go with the free options. They would be good for those who are producing websites for family and friends or maybe even some affiliate mini sites but not for a full-fledged business enterprise. There are too many limitations.
What kind of server do they have? The server is where all of the information is stored. A server needs hosts websites for the hosting company. When someone wants to access a page on your website, the server lets you access it. More powerful servers are faster at their job and pages appear in seconds for your visitors.
One of the most popular servers is Apache. Apache is open source which means that it is free for web hosts. Also it supports a number of applications including content management systems and blogging platforms. If you use Joomla or WordPress, you are using an Apache-based server.
One problem that users of free hosting services run into is lack of bandwidth. They won’t be able to upload files, videos, audios and the other Internet marketing tools used to increase your site’s salability. You will be limited in what you can do. Once your site is up and you are promoting it, changing hosts midstream can be a nightmare.
Why is this Important?
Search engine optimization involves a lot of different aspects. You will be optimizing content for your site and uploading it to many different web pages. You don’t want to be limited in the number of web pages that you can create either. Each page represents a unique URL and a different keyword that you are focusing on.

You may be the one designing your website or a website designer. You don’t want to be limited by your platform as to what you can so. Changing templates for different times of the year or just to fit the way you want to conduct business are important. The wrong web host can make this difficult to tweak templates to be more SEO friendly.
Also, with free hosting you probably won’t have full administrative control of your website. You can add files to prevent spamming on your blog (and you can add one with better web hosting) and also to capture website stats or place a web counter on your site pages. Just having enough access to edit content on your site is not enough.
When you are in the planning stages for your business, don’t forget to consider web hosting and its impact on your SEO strategies. Choosing the right one can make all the difference.

Link Building through Optimized Content

Posted by: | Comments (4)

SEO-services

Linking is important for website ranking, but link building is not the easiest thing to accomplish. When people get to know you hopefully they will want to link to your site. To help them along, give them some content they can’t resist.

Inbound Links

A website is your place in cyberspace. When people learn how great you and your products are, they can let others know about you. Linking to your website is one way to do that. It is also called a backlink. It is a link to your site on their website or blog.

There are two kinds of inbound links: reciprocal links and organic links. Reciprocal links are those that you get when you agree to swap links with another site. It could be a friend who wants to help you out and vice versa. Getting links like this is okay but not the best when it comes to moving up in the ranks.

You have to look at the quality of the sites that you are linking with. They may offer to swap links but if the site is not optimized, reputable and/or well-presented it can backfire. You can be marked down for poor link building. And paying for links isn’t much better. After you have worked so hard on your site, you don’t want it to go to waste like that.

Organic links come from those who are not asked to link to you. They have heard about you (through your stellar marketing campaign) and want to let others know something awesome is in their midst. These links are rated higher by search engines. When you are just getting started it is hard to get links like this.

Obtaining Links

How do you get the links you need and want?

Use your content. Writing content that is optimized for keywords in your niche can rank high. Others will click on you first. Sites within your niche that are trying for those higher spots will check you out to see why they can’t knock you off the top.

Establish expert status. Post content to article directories. Write for other blogs. Being found in other places increases your visibility and adds to your credibility. Everyone wants to be associated with an expert.

Comment on blogs within your target market. Go to where your potential customers are. Give sound advice and add a link to your website. Pretty soon these people may become loyal readers who will link from their blogs to your website.

Use your content to help build quality links. The combination can lead to increased traffic and subsequently more sales.
